CTI Towers Constructs First Tower
CTI Towers, Inc. announced today the company has completed its first tower construction project since the company was founded in 2011. The tower, located at 2455 Henderson Way (36-35-16 N, 121-51-18 W) in Monterey, CA, stands fifty feet tall and is available for immediate collocation.
The tower site is adjacent to the Monterey airport and is strategically located to maximize wireless coverage in the vicinity of the airport. "We were pleased to pick up this project from our cable partner late last year. Since then, we went through the permitting process, and commenced construction in June," said Tony Peduto, CEO of CTI Towers. "It is always nice to get the first one completed, but most importantly, the tower will give additional wireless coverage for the residents in the area and the visitors passing through the airport."
CTI owns and manages wireless towers in 37 states, including California. "Given the opportunities, we will grow the company by augmenting acquisitions with new builds," added Peduto.
About CTI Towers: CTI Towers was formed in 2011 through an investment from Comcast Ventures. The company owns wireless tower assets and also manages the towers of Comcast. Combined, CTI owns and/or manages over 800 towers, and expects to grow the company through acquisitions and new tower development. The company is based in the Boston suburb of Franklin, MA.
